BoltBills primarily works offline. We prioritize your privacy and business secrecy.
- Business Data: We do NOT collect or see your items, estimates, customers, or ledger entries. These remain on your device.
- Support Data: If you contact support or activate a subscription, we collect basic contact details necessary to assist you.
2. How We Use Data
- To operate the app and provide features you use.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To process subscriptions/activations (through the payment provider you choose).
3. Local Storage
Your data (including all estimates, drafts, and customer lists) is stored locally on your Windows machine. You control backups and exports.
We do not access your local data unless you explicitly share a backup file with us for troubleshooting purposes.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share minimal data with payment processors or service providers strictly to enable purchases, subscriptions, or support.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data you share with us (such as payment confirmation details), but no method is 100% secure. You are responsible for the security of your local device where the business data resides.
6. Your Choices
You can export/backup your data from the app at any time. You can contact us to request deletion of support communications you sent us.
